Goal is to design 8000 labels in the name of 8000 vintages of winemaking history, which, as a matter of fact, takes its start in my homeland - Georgia.

To create the illustrations, I painted with the actual wine that each label represents. I used the natural hues and tones of each wine to create an authentic and truly unique design. By incorporating creatures from the Caucasus region, I sought to convey the strong and full-bodied nature of the wine, while negative space on the back of the bottle represents the clay amphora - Qvevri, in which Merab Matiashvili's wine is fermented.
